Love is Unconditional

Love is unconditional.

What this means is that there are no conditions that would ever stop love from being discovered.

How does this look in our intimate relationships when we practice embracing unconditional love?

It takes a tremendous amount of honesty with yourself and your intimate partner.

Especially in the moments when we turn away from one another and begin to argue about who is right and who is wrong.

The moment when he does something that burns you inside and everything in you wants to close your heart down.

The moment when you are consumed by judgement of his conditioning, flaws and imperfections and act as though you don't have any.

Unconditional love is available in these moments if we stay the course and turn toward the difficulty.
It is always here, completely accessible even when the conditioned mind takes over and focuses on an escape route.

Unconditional love is fearless.  There is no place that it won't go.

It empowers you with the capacity to turn towards what you feel disdain for in the moment and it burns away the protection, pride and fear.  This allows you to stay open and present with what is and draws you into a deep, honest and intimate connection with one another.

Relationships are the playground for this great dance of real and, thus implicitly, unconditional love.
